Job description

The Parts Professional position is ideal for knowledgeable, hard working individuals that understand Customer Service. They are responsible for assisting all technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies. The Parts Professional is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts, and for seeking out and soliciting parts business. They report directly to the Parts Manager.

Job Duties

• Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Help determine and issue parts for customers and technicians as requested by phone internet or in person.
• Suggest sale of related parts for full service.
• Locating available parts by utilizing phone and internet. (including other Makes)
• Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership.
• Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly.
• Packaging and shipping parts, and completing the appropriate record keeping (including HAZMAT).
• Handle warranty and defective parts for customers in accordance with procedure.
• Provide delivery service as needed.
• Display parts and accessories in an appealing manor.
• Other duties as assigned by Management

• Must have computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to handle up to 60lbs.
• Must be motivated to train and learn.
• Complete all required training programs.
